On February 9-10, we embarked on a night hike up Shenzhen’s Great Wutong Mountain. From dazzling city lights to the tranquil blue hour, the first golden rays of dawn struck the Ping An Finance Centre, Shenzhen’s tallest skyscraper. As the sun rose, more and more landmarks were illuminated, unveiling the full splendor of Pengcheng.
With the air crisp after the rain, standing at the perfect vantage point, I witnessed the dreamlike frame of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link alongside Shenzhen’s skyline. The sprawling bridge stretches across the sea like a winding dragon. On the opposite shore, towering skyscrapers stand in orderly rows, their shifting light and shadow showcasing the city’s magnetic allure.
The Xisha Islands in the South China Sea are a hidden paradise where nature paints its most vibrant colors. The crystal-clear waters shift from emerald green to deep sapphire, as if God spilled a palette across the ocean.
